Project Engineer 项目工程师

Key Job Responsibilities

Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical plans.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, quality, and construction.

Support the project manager by providing technical expertise and progress updates.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents for accuracy and feasibility.

Provide technical solutions during project development and execution.

Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems or equipment.

Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and status updates.

Maintain records of engineering changes, approvals, and quality checks.

Support the development of operation manuals and handover documentation.

Ensure project execution follows quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety reviews.

Identify and mitigate technical and operational issues early.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.

Minimum 2 - 4 years working experience in building, infrastructure or civil construction is preferred.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Able to work independtly and in a team

Able to read/interpret structural and civil drawings, specifications and CAD/BIM models.

Proficient in English and preferable Chinese as dealing with Chinese stakeholders
