Project Manager

-To liaise with ID designer to kick off preliminary design, in line with Cajun design guide.

-To liaise with M&E Consultant for all M&E related drawings to be ready for new outlets.

-To discuss with operation team from time to time to update outlet operation requirement and transfer into project tender specification.

-To prepare tender document for interior & builders works, electrical works, air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation, fire protection, kitchen stainless steel equipment, signage, furniture, water filter, safe box, cold room and freezer room.

-To ensure all necessary approvals (renovation permits/temporary building permits/pylon structure approval, local authority approval) are obtained prior to construction.

-To organize project, kick off meeting for all contractors during site VP.

-To prepare master project schedule for all contractors from site take over date to handover back to operation for business, make sure all contractors follow the master schedule for project completion.

-To liaise with landlord/mall management/local council/BOMBA/TNB/Syabas to obtain necessary approval during project implementation stage.

-To check contractor workmanship by regular site visit.

-To revolve site queries and constraints and provide timely solution.

-To organize weekly project meeting to drive the project toward completion.

-To fulfill mall management requirement, make sure Pre-Opening Inspection (POI) is approved by mall management prior to handover.

-To manage construction cost to fall within budget and prevent cost overruns.

-To perform project handover to operation.

-To manage defect liability period until handing over duties to maintenance department.

-Ensure safe working practices and safe working environment is adhered to at all times.

-Performs any other duties as entrusted by your superior or Head of Department and/or any other representative as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications:

-Diploma or bachelor's degree in building construction, project management or a related field.

-5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in construction or F&B development.

-Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale F&B outlet builds or renovations.

-Strong understanding of construction practices, F&B design standards and regulatory requirements.

-Experience working with architects, contractors and cross-functional teams.

-Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

-Able to outstation for site verification.

-Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD or similar).

-Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
