Project Manager - Construction Industry

RESPONSIBILITY:

Planning, co-ordination and control of site activities and management

Leads the project team on site

Monitoring and ensure construction works are complied with the requirements (i.e. contractual, quality, time and cost).

Checking and verifying the interim progress claims of main contractors / subcontractors.

Liaise with subcontractors, consultants & local authorities on technical matters; attends all subcontractors / consultant meetings and co-ordinates nominated subcontractors and site meetings.

Monitoring the effectiveness of implementation of the work progress, quality control and Quality Management System to the relevant Standards and procedures.

Leads the site team in machineries, equipment and tools maintenance.

Implementation and ensure site safety and site environment suitable for work.

Ensure temporary reference points setting out/ alignments/ levels are available for checking by license Surveyor.

Ensure for the measuring equipment calibration.

Verify vouchers for petty cash claims and general worker salaries.

To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Operation Director

JKKP site registration.

Machineries PMA submission to the client / consultant.



REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Degree or higher education in Construction and Civil Engineering or its equivalent.

Must be a CIDB green card holder.

Minimum 10 years' experience in Project Construction, in similar position or related working experience.

Good team player, Self-motivated, reliable, minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of the site safety plan and the safety activities operation flow.

Proficiency in English, Malay & Mandarin and Computer literate. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
