Project Manager

Job description:

To assist in the management, control and smooth operation of the project division

To source for new developments in the market and to ensure our participation in tenders.

To check that all projects tendered are priced competitively and comply with clients’ and statutory requirements.

To check that the system being offered to the customers is workable in their environment and to make recommendations when necessary.

To ensure that all projects in hand are effectively and efficiently monitored to maximize profitability and to minimize wastages of materials and manpower while meeting client and statutory requirements.

To monitor sub contractors’ progress claim through evaluation recommended by subordinates.

To check that all subordinates monitor the work programme constantly for timely completion and all delays or obstructions are noted and rectified with the relevant authorities or actions.

To work together with the Project Division Manager to ensure that the cashflow is adequate.

To ensure that all staff work together in harmony through coexistence and motivation.

To identify and liaise with the finance division for the arrangement of training.

Verify and evaluate all progress claim submitted by sub-contractors.

To review all quotations from suppliers and sub-contractor and to recommend for issuance of Requisition Order.



Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years working experience in M & E field (Specialized in HVAC/ ACMV).

Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an advantage.
