QC Executive

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and ad-hoc inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using precision tools including callipers, spectrometers, and various testing apparatus.

Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities; implement immediate corrective actions and collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot issues in real-time.

Develop, update, and enforce quality control procedures, SOPs, checklists, and protocols in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and other relevant standards/certifications.

Collect and analyze quality data using statistical tools (SPC charts, etc.) and root cause analysis methods; prepare comprehensive reports on metrics, trends, and improvement recommendations for management.

Maintain awareness of industry regulations; perform internal audits, support external audits (including documentation preparation), and address compliance gaps through regular line audits.

Manage calibration, maintenance, and inventory of QC laboratory equipment and tools; ensure optimal condition, procure replacements when needed, and mentor team members on proper usage to minimize downtime.



What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management or related field.

3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance roles within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or technical environment.

Hands-on knowledge of inspection tools, testing equipment, and statistical quality tools (SPC, root cause analysis) is preferred.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Strong written & verbal English + Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added plus.
