Quality Engineer IV

UCT is looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join us in Malaysia!

The Quality Engineer ensures products meet rigorous standards of quality, function, and reliability before delivery. This role establishes and communicates quality parameters, oversees product testing including CMM techniques, and manages calibration of measurement equipment. By leading the Material Review Board and analyzing recurring defects, the Quality Engineer drives corrective actions and continuous improvement. The position also reviews customer feedback, enforces compliance with regulations, and fosters a culture of excellence to safeguard product integrity and organizational success.



Duties and Responsibilities:

More than 5 years of Quality engineering experiences.

Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.

Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, and other appropriate staff.

Coordinates product testing processes.

Manage product testing technics including CMM(computerized measuring machine) .

In charge for calibration all measuring equipment as gauges ,calipers ,pressure gauges and other equipment that need calibration.

Leading the MRB(Material Review Board) at the production floor.

Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.

Reviews client, customer, and user complaints and other feedback.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ten years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience.

Mechanical/Material/industrial engineer.

Lead Auditor certificate from a well-known organization.

Working in ISO 9001:2015 environment organizations

Education, Certifications, Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Quality Engineering or related discipline.
