SAFETY MANAGER / SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:
• To implement and maintain the Company’s Environmental, Safety and Health Management System to ensure that it is in compliance with the relevant statutory requirements at all time.
• To perform system construction activities in a safely and proper manner.
• To implement recommended penalties for sub-contractor non-compliance to QA / H&S requirements.
• To provide advice and support to the Project Manager for the implementation and auditing of Health, Safety, Security & Environment.
• To organize safety and health audit/inspection and prepare report.
• To liaise with relevant authorities to ensure that any H&S matter is attended to and resolved promptly and prudently.
• To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess Masters/Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or relevant disciplines.
• Min. 5-8 years of working experience in safety supervision and implementation in property development or construction projects.
• Good knowledge in property and construction terminology, security and environment management.
• Knowledge in Malaysian OSH Management System standards and specification, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision and to work under pressure with strong sense of responsibilities and urgencies.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written & spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
