Sales Executive

Role Overview – Sales Executive (Flooring & Wall Panelling)

As a Sales Executive at Averton Sdn Bhd, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by combining design expertise with strong customer engagement skills. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs, proposing suitable flooring and wall panelling solutions, and delivering professional design recommendations that enhance both functionality and aesthetics.

Main Responsibilities

1) Engage with customers to understand their preferences, space requirements and design needs & assist customers in identifying the appropriate products they are looking for and provide advice, guidance or solution on product selection to clients.

2) Produce customized design proposals using our latest 3D design software

3) Conducting on-site visits to clients' place, performing site measurements, and present design concepts, product recommendations and quotations to customers

4) Effectively following up on sales requests, quotations, and orders, while working on developing precise demand forecasts.

5) Discovering new business prospects and scheduling appointments with interior designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners to expand the customer base and boost sales.

6) Coordinate with customer service and installation team, to ensure smooth project installation execution.

7) Negotiating and closing deals, addressing complaints, and preserving customer satisfaction.

8) Monitor and manage customer accounts to track payment timeline.

9) Consistently meeting and exceeding personal sales targets.



Requirements

1) Candidates with SPM, Diploma, or Degree in any related discipline are welcome to apply.

2) At least 1 year of relevant experience in interior design consulting or sales. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

3) Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer-oriented approach.

4) Good attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving.

5) Fresh graduates or candidates without experience are encouraged to apply — training will be provided.

6) Experience in building material industry is beneficial.

7) Required language(s): Mandarin (added advantage), English & Bahasa Malaysia.

8) Having own transport is preferred.
