Senior Executive - Mechanical & Electrical

Job description :

1) Oversees daily operations, maintenance, and safety of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure compliance with standards and budget, typically leading a team and managing vendors.

2) Drive strategic facility goals, optimize space utilization, manage renovations, and coordinate facility services.

3) Assist the team in overseeing general and emergency repair and maintenance works for the M&E services installation executed within an acceptable timeframe.

2) Ensure minimum downtime of M&E services installation.

3) Planning and execution of preventive maintenance on the M&E services installation.

4) Supervising and coordinate Contractors on any M&E works, repair, maintenance, upgrading works.

5) Conduct regular inspections of the M&E services installation.

6) Ensure accurate records are kept for M&E services installation, accordance with ISO requirement.

7) Ensure general cleanliness of M&E services installation inside plant room, riser, enclosure, etc.

8) Assist manager in the strategizing of yearly maintenance or upgrading plan to meet department goals.

9) Oversee monthly M&E ground staff duty roster and ensures sufficient deployment of staff for smooth operations.

10) Execute project management activities, and monitor progress of assigned projects throughout the entire project lifecycle to achieve effective time, cost, quality, environmental, safety and health management.

11) Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders involved in the projects i.e. consultants, contractors, authorities, government officials, etc.

12) Liaise and coordinate with contractors and consultants on progression of work to ensure assigned projects achieve effective time, cost, quality, environmental, safety and health management.

13) Maintain proper records of the assigned projects including permits, contracts, inspections, drawings, etc.


Job Requirement :

1) Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, building services, facilities management, property management or any other related field.

2) Proven experience in facilities management, operations, or technical maintenance roles. Experience in M&E consultancy would be a plus point.

3) Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS).

4) Strong leadership, communication, vendor negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

5) Eager to learn and proactive.

6) At least 3 to 5 years of experience would be preferred.
