Senior HR Manager (Retail/F&B)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full HR function with a focus on:

Compensation & Benefits strategy and execution

Performance Management frameworks

Industrial Relations (IR) and disciplinary matters

Ensure compliance with all labour laws and Employment Act requirements

Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with business goals

Provide strategic HR counsel to senior leadership to support organizational growth and employee engagement

Manage HR budgeting and workforce planning initiatives

Lead and mentor a high-performing HR team

Key Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity

Experience managing high-volume workforce (minimum 1,500 headcount), preferably in retail or F&B sectors

Strong expertise in compensation & benefits, performance management, and industrial relations

In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and other relevant labour regulations

Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) – required to liaise with internal stakeholders

Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change and build a people-first culture
