Senior Material Planner

SUMMARY OF JOB
-To involve in purchasing activities including issue Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition, Request For Quote, etc.
-To follow up with supplier to ensure timely delivery of goods ordered.
-To update SAP MRP database timely to ensure system has accurate info.
-To review safety stock decisions and timely update on usage evolution
-To involve in supplier selection and evaluation process.
-To monitor commodity to ensure sufficient stock.
-To maintain a proper record of purchase, quotation and suppliers information.
-To liaise with shipping department on materials import shipment.
-To coordinate and support finance if there is invoicing issue from suppliers.
-To carry out other duties as and when directed by the Management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED
-Degree in any discipline with good command of English
-Team work player and willing to work extra if it is required
-Computer literacy is a necessary.
