Senior Product Manager – Risk Management

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the design and development of our risk control and fraud prevention solutions. This role will work closely with the Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams to build risk products that safeguard our payment infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing merchants, covering fraud, credit exposure, and operational risks.

Define and enhance methodologies for calculating risk exposure and onboarding risk frameworks.

Monitor merchant performance against card scheme rules and internal thresholds; identify high-risk behavior and recommend mitigation strategies.

Ensure adherence to internal risk policies and compliance with acquiring partners and regulatory requirements (e.g., card schemes, KYC/AML).

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to develop and deliver fraud prevention KPIs and system features.

Design, improve, and maintain fraud detection models (e.g., merchant risk patterns, card testing indicators); identify data gaps and optimization opportunities.

Drive the development of internal risk tooling and manage integration with third-party fraud detection vendors and rule engines.

Draft, maintain, and update risk-related policies and procedures—particularly for merchant underwriting and fraud prevention.

Analyze merchant behavior and transactional data to generate actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Requirement:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager (preferably Senior PM) in payments industry.

Solid understanding of credit risk evaluation, including evaluation models across industries, business models, financial performance, and portfolio-level risk.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns and think creatively beyond standard processes.

Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Experience in Web3 or blockchain-based payment risk management is a strong plus.
