About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax professional to join our dynamic team at CHENG & CO TAXATION SDN BHD'. As a Senior Tax professional , you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax compliance services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients across various industries

Preparing and reviewing subordinate's tax returns, including corporate and individual taxes

Conducting tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tax-related services

Staying up-to-date with the latest tax regulations, legislation, and industry best practices

Proactively identifying and addressing potential tax risks and issues for clients

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in tax compliance, preferably in an accounting firm or a large corporate environment.

Extensive knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proven track record of providing tax planning services to a diverse client base.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and/or Malaysian Institute of Taxation (CTIM) is an ADDED ADVANTAGE.
