Senior Technician

As Senior Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:


• Conduct periodic checks on execution of policies and procedures, with reports to the Duty engineer and/or Maintenance Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Maintain and repair hotel facilities, equipment, and assets with minimal downtime, following safety regulations and energy management plans.
• Monitor and control repair, maintenance, and operational expenses while minimizing wastage.
• Liaise closely with other departments, attend daily briefings, and ensure staff awareness of hotel policies.
• Complete work orders promptly, prepare daily reports, and follow up on tasks to ensure effectiveness.
• Conduct inspections, supervise careful handling of furniture, tools, and materials, and enforce proper usage standards.
• To ensure all logbooks, record sheets and relevant records are correctly completed and kept up to date prior to finishing shift.
• To ensure the Hotel’s fire, health and safety procedures are adhered to.
• To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned, whether verbally or in writing, by the Duty Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Assistant Chief Engineer.

As Senior Technician, we expect from you:


• Technical/Vocational Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• HVAC Certification or equivalent trade license.
• Additional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, fire safety)
• Minimum 2–5 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and reduce downtime.
