SERVICE CREW (CONVENTION CENTRE)

Job Description

To provide / execute a quality service to guest during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.

To assist supervisor in supervising banquet operation especially on casual workers / part timers.

Execute new technique for food presentation in a manner and variety to maximize guest satisfaction.

Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene technique.

Ensure that function rooms are set-up in accordance with customer satisfaction by supervising set-up staff and inspecting function room.

Carry out regular stock take of assets i.e. table, chairs, linens & etc and to ensure the function room is maintained and in excellent condition at all times.

Ensure readiness and compliance in case of last minute changes to event orders.

Liaise and work closely event / AV team

Job Requirement

Preferably Diploma in Hotel Catering / Hotel Services / Banquet or Hospitality Management.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in hotels, convention centre or hospitality industry.

Proficient in oral and written Bahasa Malaysia and English, knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Highly customer service oriented background and able to interact with all level of clients.

Able to look into details and offer alternatives to clients.

Good computer skills with computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
