Service & Warranty Technician

Job Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks involving electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components to ensure smooth site operations.

Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on equipment and solar systems to ensure performance and compliance with standards.

Coordinate with project teams and relevant stakeholders to promptly resolve installation issues or design matters.

Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc solar panel cleaning activities, ensuring cleaning is done efficiently, safely, and in line with service standards to maximize system performance.

Monitor and record cleaning performance and site conditions, including before/after photos and reporting of any faults or damages found during cleaning.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior, in support of the company’s operational and maintenance goals.

Job Requirement:

Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.

Preferably 1–3 years of working experience in solar PV project execution, maintenance, or panel cleaning roles.

Familiarity with solar PV systems, performance factors, and troubleshooting practices is an advantage.

Experience in preparing system-related documentation and reports.

Proficient in software tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of solar-related software such as Helios, PVsyst, or equivalent is beneficial.

Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures on site.

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of Health, Safety, and Occupational (HSO) procedures is an added advantage.

Must be able and willing to work on public holidays when required to complete tasks.

Willingness to travel to project sites and perform physical tasks under various weather conditions.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Ability to start work immediately or within a short notice period is an added advantage.
