Software Engineer (Java)

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support financial transactions and critical business systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, risk, operations, and compliance to deliver new features safely and reliably.

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following engineering and security best practices.

Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system correctness, reliability, and regression safety.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback with a strong focus on quality, security, and maintainability.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems with attention to performance, resilience, and data integrity in production environments.

Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions, balancing speed of delivery with risk and compliance considerations.

Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system stability, security, and development efficiency.



What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience with Java.

Experience with Spring and web technologies such as Thymeleaf, and RESTful web services, or equivalent frameworks.

Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, with an understanding of data consistency and transactional integrity.

Familiarity with modern development workflows and tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.



Bonus

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.

Awareness of security, compliance, or audit requirements (e.g. PCI-DSS, data protection).
