Soldering Operator

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform soldering operations on electronic components and circuit boards according to work instructions and soldering standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 if applicable)
-Inspect joints to ensure proper wetting, alignment and quality; rework as needed
-Handle components and tools with care to prevent electrostatic damage (ESD) and contamination
-Maintain cleanliness of soldering tools and work area, following 5S practices
-Report any defects, equipment malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor
-Maintain awareness of the company's Quality and Environmental Policy, applicable procedures and objectives relevant to assigned tasks

Skills/Requirements:
-Skilled in hand soldering and familiar with soldering tools (iron, flux,etc)
-Able to interpret basic assembly drawings or wiring diagrams
-Knowledge of ESD handling and workplace safety requirements
