Stacking & Pressing Engineer

To innovate, re-engineer / develop, simulate and optimize processes and systems to best suit the manufacturing of a product

To conduct continuous quality improvements (dimensional & functional) for product and processes

To optimize glass production processes with 5M approach

To adhere to customer’s product quality requirements and achieve a stable and high yielding process for sustainability

Perform cost down initiatives and value engineering in order to establish a cost effective production process

To perform statistical and technical analysis on production failures and improve production capability.

To manage and revise work instructions and process control plan on a timely basis

To improve process efficiency & cost through minor/major automation & IT initiatives.

Responsible for the overall stability of the processes and take necessary steps to eradicate deviations

Practice continuous improvement (7 wastes elimination) as a daily culture at the workplace

Attend to any other work/project assigned to you by your superior(s) from time to time.

Adhere to all company Rules & Regulations including prescribed dept. work ethics and procedures
