Staff Product Quality Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

Requirements

Language Required: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
Candidates must possess at least Degree.
Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance plans for new and existing products.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer issues.
Manage quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and PPAP.
Act as the primary quality liaison for cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
Oversee product reliability and qualification testing, interpreting results to ensure compliance with product requirements.
Conduct quality audits and implement improvements in accordance with ISO/IATF standards.
Monitor product and process performance through statistical tools and initiate improvement actions when necessary.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by participating in design reviews and ensuring design-for-quality principles are applied.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers on quality-related topics, including issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Mentor and support junior quality engineers and technicians within the team.
Responsibilities

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
8+ years of experience in product quality or manufacturing quality roles within an electronics, automotive, or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, DOE, etc.).
Experience with quality systems including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Proficient in root cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams and with customers.
Experience in reliability testing, validation planning, and regulatory compliance.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.
