Tax Compliance Manager (able to commence by July, 2026)

Key responsibilities
1. Plan, supervise and manage external tax compliance engagements in accordance with Malaysian Taxation Standards and relevant regulatory frameworks
2. Lead and manage tax teams, including junior tax and assistants, providing guidance, coaching and quality assurance
3. Manage client relationships effectively, serving as a key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction throughout audit engagements
4. Perform quality reviews of tax work completed by junior team members to ensure compliance with firm standards
5. Stay current with changes in taxation standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for
Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant Malaysia), ACCA or equivalent accounting recognised qualification
1. Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in tax in the tax department.
2. Proven experience in planning and executing tax engagements across varied industries and business sectors
3. Strong time management and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and professional judgment
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin/Cantonese.
