Technican/Electrical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician/Handyman – Electrical to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance tasks, along with basic general handyman duties to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and fixtures.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and replace or repair defective components.

* Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing wiring as needed.

* Support general maintenance and handyman tasks including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and minor HVAC work.

Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations*.

* Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent.

* Assist in preventive maintenance schedules and contribute to overall facility improvement projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma /Technical Certificate in Electrical or related field.

Experience: Minimum in electrical maintenance or similar technician role.

Licensing: Valid electrical technician license (if required by local regulations).

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety standards.

* Hands-on experience using electrical and general maintenance tools.

* Ability to perform basic handyman tasks outside of electrical scope.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment safely.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
