JOB DESCRIPTION – WAITRESS / SERVICE CREW
中餐厅楼面服务员

Job Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers politely and provide friendly service.
2. Guide customers to their seats and provide menus.
3. Take food and beverage orders accurately.
4. Serve food and drinks promptly.
5. Pay attention to customers’ needs and provide assistance when necessary.
6. Clear and clean tables after customers finish their meals.
7. Set up tables, cutlery, tissues, sauces and other dining items.
8. Keep the dining area clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
9. Assist customers with additional orders, takeaway packing and other requests.
10. Communicate clearly with the kitchen and cashier regarding customers’ orders.
11. Check orders before serving to ensure the correct dishes are delivered.
12. Assist with opening and closing duties.
13. Help maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including floor, tables and service areas.
14. Follow restaurant SOP, hygiene and food safety requirements.
15. Assist colleagues during busy hours and work as a team.
16. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.

• Long pants and covered shoes are required during working hours.

• Do not use mobile phone unnecessarily during working hours.
• Do not stand around waiting to be instructed all the time.
• Observe what needs to be done and take initiative.
• Serve customers with a natural smile and friendly attitude.
• Stay focused on work during working hours.
