The Job

· The Furniture Design / Production Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of furniture design, product development, and manufacturing operations.

· To ensures that all furniture products meet design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.

· To support retail fit-out, commercial, and bespoke furniture projects.


Responsibility

· Manage furniture design from concept, drawings, and samples to final production.

· Oversee daily factory production operations and production scheduling.

· Ensure products meet quality standards, design specifications, and project timelines.

· Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams for smooth delivery and installation.

· Control production costs, materials, and wastage.

· Lead and supervise design, production, and carpentry teams.

· Resolve design, production, and quality issues effectively.


Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 7 years’ experience in furniture manufacturing or retail fit-out.

· Strong knowledge of furniture materials, joinery, and production processes.

· Able to read and prepare technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).

· Good leadership, planning, and communication skills.

· Applicants should have the ability to work in Malaysia.
