SENIOR PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Basic Job Requirement :
-Degree with above 3 years of related experience or Diploma with more than 3 years of related experience.
-Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software with experience in operating any purchasing and material management modules.
-Able to lead and provide support to production from a procurement point of view.
-Ability to implement and enforce procedures for procurement operations/activities. Ability to meet tight datelines with a good and committed working attitude.
-Strong communication skills in English (both written & oral).

Roles :
-Process the purchase requisition received and determines the appropriate approach to get quotation/proposal/information.
-Liaise with the user department in resolving any technicality in the request and resolve issues that arise with accounts payable.
-Always ensure best practices in the implementation of purchasing procedures through an updated supplier database in finding the best price with a desired quantity and quality.
-Coordinate procurement document preparation, vendors’ contract preparation, and maintenance to ensure traceability.
-Participate in any specialized projects and assignments related to procurement as required.
