Executive, Procurement (Sourcing) - Mechanical/ Chemical Background

Responsibilities and Duties
-Provide support to sourcing manager to source and evaluate new vendors for supply of identified materials for company’s portfolio of business.
-Able to negotiate with new and existing vendors to ensure supply of material in most cost-efficient manner within agreed price target and budget.
-Working closely with purchasing team to track and monitor delivery of purchased items within agreed schedule and confirm delivery of items per agreed specifications by respective vendors.
-Conduct monthly / periodic review of existing vendors, provide, negotiate, and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.
-Provide support to management in reviewing and recommending sourcing / procurement policies including use of appropriate tools to meet company’s evolving business needs.
-Review and provide recommendations to management for the materials needed.
-Handle the daily activity while re-established workflow and cross training of team members.
-Develop analysis tools with system to enhance job and intensify control and continuous improvement.
-Fully co-develop and implement subcon control and tracking with Batam planning team.
-Driving cost reduction project with monthly report and action items

Qualifications & Requirements
-Minimum diploma or degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical, mechatronic, Chemical)
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategic sourcing position
