About the role
This full-time 6-month internship opportunity at Centific Global Solutions' George Town Penang office offers ambitious software engineering students the chance to gain invaluable experience as a Software Test Engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative software applications, contributing to the overall success of our business.



What you'll be doing

Designing and executing comprehensive test plans to identify and resolve software defects

Collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and identify potential risks

Automating testing processes to improve efficiency and consistency

Documenting test cases, results, and recommendations for improvement

Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to development teams

Staying up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies



What we're looking for

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail

Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Postman, or JUnit

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A passion for delivering high-quality software solutions
