Account Executive

Requirements

Diploma or professional education in accounting or any related field.
Ideal candidate will possess degree or professional qualification in accounting.
Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
A minimum of one year of audit experience and be proficient in MYOB or similar accouting software.
Knowledge of e-invoicing system and electronic submission platforms.
Full set accounts experience essential, including AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Experience in accounting/audit firms with exposure to client preparation and audit procedures.

Position Overview

We are a small but expanding group of companies involved in diverse industries, currently seeking a dynamic and driven Accountant with an audit background to strengthen our finance team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the company's. This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity and compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all business transactions.
Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement.
Generate management reports and financial analysis for decision-making purposes.
Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reports.

Reporting Structure

This role, which reports dirctaly to CFO, offers a stimulating work environment at our group headquarters in Taman Melawati.
Full-time position based at company headquarters.
Standard office hour with flexibility during month-end and year-end closing periods.
Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods and audit seasons.
Minimal travel required for bank matters and regulatory submissions.
