Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities and ensure financial data is recorded accurately.
Prepare journal entries, update general ledgers, and perform regular account reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities to ensure timely completion.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and internal summaries for management.
Assist in generating analytical insights to support planning and operational decisions.
Track budget utilization and highlight discrepancies between actual and planned spending.
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, customer receipts, and other payments in a timely manner.
Handle follow‑ups for outstanding receivables and monitor payment collections.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or payment‑related matters.
Ensure financial activities adhere to statutory requirements such as taxation, EPF, SOCSO, and other regulatory obligations.
Prepare audit‑related documentation and provide support during both internal and external audit reviews.
Assist in maintaining up‑to‑date financial procedures and ensure adherence to internal policies.
Provide day‑to‑day support to the finance lead on operational and ad‑hoc accounting tasks.
Organise and upkeep proper filing systems for finance documents and supporting records.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA will be considered an added advantage.
2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Solid understanding of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and financial processes.
Ability to converse in Chinese is compulsory.
