Account Senior

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Senior to join our dynamic team at PRO B CENTRE SDN BHD. This full-time position is based in George Town, Penang and will play a key role in our Accounting and Bookkeeping department.

What you'll be doing

Able to handle full set of accounts;

Prepare monthly financial report and accompanying schedule and reports;

Perform balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis;

Plans, coordinates, and verifies work of subordinates;

Prepare and review SST return and ensure accuracy and timely submission;

Mentor and train junior accounting staff

Able to liaise with customers on accounting matters; Liaise with external parties eg. Auditors, tax agent, customs, etc.

What we're looking for

Bachelor Degree in accounting.

3+ years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally in a small practice or accounting firm

Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Proficient in the use of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

A proactive, detail-oriented and team-oriented approach
