About the role (Prefer Mandarin Speaking)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant - Full Set to join a MNC company in Senai Johor. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to take on a diverse range of accounting responsibilities within a growing and dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

Manage the full accounting cycle, from recording transactions to preparing financial statements

Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations

Provide support and advice to the management team on financial matters

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights

What we're looking for

Qualified accountant with a relevant degree and professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)

Minimum 3 years of experience in a full-set accounting role, preferably in the financial services industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
