Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management to support the company’s operations and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and in charge of the daily operation of finance department

Prepare full set of accounts with analysis and reconciliation schedules including accrual, provision, banks, prepayment and etc

Manage and execute the Company’s actual costing process, including the calculation and analysis of material costs and finished goods inventory.

Perform month-end closing activities related to costing including WIP settlement, variance analysis and final cost runs.

Maintain standard cost, performing annual/ quarterly cost rolls and comparing actual costs to standard costs to identify key drivers of variances.

Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statement, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards

Analysing the P&L and Balance Sheet accounts to understand the main cost drivers of the business

Prepare monthly financial / management reports, budget and other ad hoc reports

Maintains, prepare and records asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information

Completes internal / external audit by analysing and scheduling general ledger account and providing information by internal / external auditors

Prepare audit and tax schedules

Support in SST filing and compliance review

Review and improve existing process flow and internal controls

Perform ad-hoc task as and when required



Are you the one?

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years related working experience.

Audit background is an added advantage.

Strong accounting knowledge & analytical skills.

Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.

Detail-oriented, accurate, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

Independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.

Strong problem-solving skills and a good team player.
