Responsibilities:
Financial Statements: Prepare/Review unaudited financial statements for a portfolio of Malaysia and Singapore clients
Group Reporting: Perform group consolidation and proofing work for reserves/NCI. Prepare consolidated financial statements, including MNCs with foreign subsidiaries
Accounts Review: Review monthly management accounts prepared by junior team members and provide guidance, including withholding tax, SST/GST compliance.
Financial Analysis: Analyse client's financial data to identify trends and discrepancies that support business decisions
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes or automation to enhance efficiency and service quality
Technical Research & Consultation: Support management on complex accounting matters, prepare technical memos and propose accounting treatments in line with relevant Financial Reporting Standards
Professional Development: Attend training programs planned for you to stay updated on relevant accounting standards and industry developments
Client Relationship: Build and maintain client relationships and manage client expectations
Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, MIA or equivalent qualifications
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Possess a positive, proactive, and helpful attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and basic computer software applications
Experience working in an Accounting or Audit Firm is highly valued
