Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance and administrative team. The successful candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. This position offers valuable exposure to both corporate and expatriate compliance matters, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with bookkeeping tasks. You will prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers, while also supporting monthly closing activities and the preparation of financial statements. The role includes handling petty cash, performing bank reconciliations, and entering data into accounting systems. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities when required, and provide support in payroll preparation and statutory submissions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB. In addition, you will assist the finance department with administrative duties whenever necessary.

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates or individuals with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL, UBS, MYOB, or similar platforms will be an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Good communication skills in both English and Malay are required, while knowledge of Mandarin will be considered an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
