Advanced Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with clients, EPC contractors and end users
Prepare project schedule and monitor progress
Participate in site meetings and progress reviews
To lead projects from preliminary engineering, detail design, FAT, site installation, SAT and plant startup/ commissioning activities.
Manage variation orders
Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents
Ensure proper documentation (as-built drawings, test reports, manuals)
Provide technical support to clients and serve as customer contact for project/ service related issues.
Identify technical issues and assist in developing solutions
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
Key Experience & Capabilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electric/ Electronic/ Instrumentation/ Automation Control.
6 years’ or above related work experience in oil and gas preferred
Strong technical knowledge and work experience in DCS/ SGS system.
Strong project execution and planning skills.
Ability to lead a project team as Lead Engineer.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to read and review technical drawings
Technical troubleshooting capabilities
Technical and safety certifications in oil and gas will be an added advantage
Work experience on offshore platforms.
Knowledge of other skillsets such as Scada, PLCs, Safety/FGS systems, Cybersecurity, Networking, Virtualization platform would be benefit.
