Agribusiness and Agri-Biotechnology Intern

Terradeca Sdn. Bhd. is offering a full-time industrial training placement for students seeking practical exposure in agri-biotechnology, agribusiness and agricultural product commercialisation.

The placement provides structured, cross-functional industry exposure. Interns will be assigned according to their academic background, strengths and current project requirements.

Areas of exposure include:

- Agricultural research, field trials and technical documentation
- Crop observation, pest monitoring and field data collection
- Production, quality, inventory and operational workflows
- Marketing, market research, customer engagement and online sales
- Agricultural product commercialisation and distributor support

The placement combines office, field and operational activities. Interns are expected to be hands-on, adaptable, accountable for assigned work and able to provide clear progress updates.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Biology, Plant Science, Food Science, Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship or another relevant discipline
- Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Organised, proactive and willing to work across different functions
- Comfortable participating in farm visits, field activities, exhibitions and external programmes when required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or Canva is an advantage

Placement location: UPM MTDC Technology Centre, Serdang, Selangor

Intake: September 2026

Monthly internship allowance: RM500
