We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Architecture Coordinator to join our team in Johor and support our growing data centre portfolio.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Architecture Coordinator will act as the key liaison between the design team, project management, and on-site construction teams. The role ensures architectural designs are accurately translated into construction deliverables while maintaining quality, compliance, and alignment with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate architectural design development and ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
Review architectural drawings, design specifications, and material submissions to ensure constructability and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve design-related issues.
Ensure timely issuance of architectural documentation, including IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, RFI responses, and as-built drawings.
Monitor design implementation during construction, conducting regular site visits to verify compliance.
Maintain project design records, reports, and correspondence in accordance with company and client requirements.
Assist in planning and scheduling design activities to meet project milestones.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior architectural staff and coordinate their tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in industrial buildings or data centre projects.
Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation, and building codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Familiarity with data centre design standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute guidelines) is an advantage.
