Job Description

As an Art Lead / 3D Pipeline Coordinator, you’ll take charge of a talented art team while establishing the visual pipeline for a large-scale MMORPG project. You’ll guide production, optimize workflows, and collaborate with global leads to ensure smooth asset integration and milestone delivery.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM

The Qualifications We Seek

5+ years in 3D game art production (3–5 years acceptable for high-performing candidates)

Proficient in at least two art disciplines: modeling, rigging, animation, or VFX

Experience with older or custom engines (Gamebryo/NetImmerse a major plus)

Deep technical knowledge: exporting, naming conventions, animation sequencing, FX triggers

Proven leadership and project planning abilities

Excellent written and spoken English

Strong process documentation and pipeline creation skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with SVN or similar version control tools

MMORPG or Digimon-style game development background

History of building pipelines or teams from scratch

Working Culture

Collaborative, globally distributed team (UK, Brazil, South Korea, and APAC)

Open communication via Slack and virtual office tools

Strong focus on independence, problem-solving, creativity, and technical ownership

Your Daily Tasks

Lead and mentor a small art team (modeler, animator, VFX)

Perform active production tasks in modeling, animation, or visual effects

Establish and document a scalable 3D art pipeline compatible with the legacy Gamebryo engine

Oversee asset integration, including rigging, animation, and FX triggers

Coordinate with the Project Manager (UK) and client for milestone planning

Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables meet expectations

Provide feedback, resolve technical issues, and optimize the pipeline

Maintain detailed documentation for onboarding, standardize processes, and support team handovers
