Assistant Accounts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting for our prestigious hotel. This is a full-time position with excellent growth opportunities.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Group Financial Controller in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure the accuracy of financial data

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all financial transactions

Provide support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis

Assist with the implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
