Assistant QA Manager

Job Scope:

Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with industry standards. (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

Manage and lead the QA team, set objectives, assign tasks, and evaluate staff performance.

To execute quality control plans for the company QA/QC functions including product quality and outgoing quality.

To perform quality checking as per Quality Plan on every assembly line.

Ensure all products meet quality and customer requirements before releasing to the next process.

To ensure all defect products were identified and segregated accordingly in the production line by using relevant rework label / on hold label/ scrap label.

Coordinate and prepare for external audits and certification reviews by ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance with ISO standards.

To ensure rework job were done according to specification given before releasing the reworked filters to the next process.

To ensure the used measuring equipment is in calibrated accordingly by a visible calibration sticker.

To prepare QA checklist/ QC inspection record/ Rejection Report as per Quality Plan.

To ensure all inspection reports are completed and submitted accordingly in a timely manner.

Lead investigations, develop corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and maintain effective communication with customers.

Quality inspection for all the return goods from customers and fill up the QA Good Return form for traceability.

Lead internal and external quality audits, including customer and certification body audits.

To perform other tasks that contribute to the smooth daily operation.



Job Requirements:

The candidate must possess at least a Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or relevant experience in a related field (e.g. the steel or pressure vessel industry, or manufacturing using the ISO 9001 Management System).

Have at least 5 years’ working experience in documenting processes and audits in line with ISO standards.

Familiar with ISO requirements (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) would be an advantage.

Preferably attended ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001 Awareness & Internal Audit Courses. Experience in conducting or supporting internal audits for these standards is highly desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English, as the role requires communicating frequently with the China logistics team

Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking abilities, with high attention to details.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office tools.

Applicants must be willing to work in our factory in Pulau Indah, Klang, Selangor.
