Auditor (Junior / Senior)

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in financial analysis and auditing standards.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial accounting.
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Knowledge of taxation principles is an advantage.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform detailed testing of financial statement line items, including verification of account balances, transactions, and supporting documentation, to assess accuracy and completeness.
Evaluate internal controls and risk management processes to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement, contributing to the development of audit recommendations.
Prepare audit work papers that accurately document audit procedures performed, findings, and conclusions, ensuring adherence to firm standards and quality control guidelines.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, fostering strong client relationships.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and tax laws, and participate in continuing professional education to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective audit execution, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Utilize analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in financial data, supporting the development of audit strategies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client information, adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct guidelines.
