Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within an Industry 4.0 context.
Initial learning phase 1-3 days for new brand AMR software
Proficiency in PLC, C#, SQL, HMI design, SCADA systems, robotics, IoT, AI, and machine learning.
Professional certifications in automation, Industry 4.0, or related fields
Experience in smart manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or other advanced manufacturing industries
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems integrating IoT devices, robotics, AI, and machine learning to enhance manufacturing processes.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, transitioning traditional manufacturing into smart, connected, and data-driven systems.
Configure, program, and troubleshoot Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), including setup, mapping, path drawing, workflow configuration, and cross-brand integration.
To implement industrial robot arms or cobots , including project setup, configure, program, and troubleshoot.
Develop and maintain software solutions using C#, Python, CSS, HTML, JavaScript (Node-RED), and API integrations.
Manage and query databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), design ERD diagrams, and implement optimized table structures.
Work with various industrial network protocols, including Ethernet/IP (EIP), Modbus, Profinet,
OPC UA, and TCP/IP.
Integrate data from multiple sources (sensors, machines, ERP systems) to create cohesive,
efficient production environments.
Implement predictive maintenance strategies using real-time data analytics to minimize
downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
Ensure seamless integration of automation systems with existing manufacturing equipment, IT
infrastructure, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including MQTT protocol implementations.
Implement AI agents and backend logic to support intelligent automation workflows.
Apply robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard automation systems and maintain data
integrity.
Identify, plan, and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency,
quality, and flexibility.
Manage automation projects end-to-end, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and
resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, production, engineering) to align automation
projects with strategic business goals.
Provide training and technical support to staff for new automation technologies, tools, and
processes.
