About the Role
We’re an established furniture company entering a new phase of growth — with one strong mainstream brand and two exciting new youth-focused brands in the pipeline. We’re looking for a visionary Brand & Design Director to lead the development of brand identity, visual storytelling, and creative execution across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Vision & Creative Direction
Develop and own the brand’s creative identity, design ethos, and seasonal direction
Translate lifestyle concepts into product stories, campaigns, and in-store experiences
Product & Collection Direction
Set creative direction for seasonal collections in collaboration with merchandising and sourcing teams
Provide input on materials, colors, and textures aligned with trends and brand DNA
Curate moodboards and design briefs for in-house or vendor-developed collections
Campaigns & Marketing
Work closely with marketing to ensure campaigns, catalogues, digital assets, and photography follow a consistent creative narrative
Approve art direction for photo shoots, lookbooks, digital content, and VM themes
Store Design & Visual Merchandising
Guide store layout aesthetics, seasonal window themes, and product presentation
Align retail experience with brand storytelling across physical and online platforms
Trend & Consumer Insights
Track global design trends, fashion/home crossover influences, and evolving consumer lifestyles
Lead seasonal creative presentations to internal teams and external collaborators
Requirements:
Degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related creative fields
7+ years in creative roles, ideally in fashion, home, or lifestyle retail brands
A strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building, storytelling, and cross-platform creativity
Leadership experience managing creative or design teams
Passion for design, lifestyle, and modern living concepts
Strong visual communication and trend-forecasting skills
Comfortable collaborating across merchandising, marketing, and retail functions
Bonus Points:
Experience with home collections, soft furnishings, or crossover fashion-home projects
Exposure to furniture sourcing, materials, or product development workflows
Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or other visualization software
