This position plays a key role in growing our business in Malaysia by exploring new opportunities, conducting land studies and feasibility assessments, supporting land acquisition, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The role focuses on driving revenue, expanding our market presence, and ensuring long-term business success.
Job Description
Assist in the preparation and review of master layout plans (KM) for residential and mixed-use development projects.
Conduct research on planning regulations, local authority requirements, and current market trends to inform layout proposals.
Support land utilization analysis based on zoning, site accessibility, topography, and market demand, and assist in assessing new land acquisition opportunities from both planning and commercial viability perspectives.
Coordinate with town planners, external consultants, internal departments, and relevant authorities (e.g., MBSA, PTD, LPHS) to ensure compliance with guidelines and alignment with project objectives.
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within the Malaysian market, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and government agencies.
Prepare and present business proposals, tenders, quotations, and client presentations, and lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and deal closures.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends, track sales performance, and provide regular reports and updates to management.
Represent the company at meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions in Malaysia.
Responsible for achieving annual revenue and sales targets, securing new clients, projects, and partnerships, maintaining high client satisfaction and retention, ensuring successful tenders and proposals, and providing accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts
Job Requirements:
Possess a Degree / Diploma in Town Planning, Architecture, Property Development, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
3–7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Landbank management, Legal, Project Planning & Design, Authorities Acts, Tenders & Proposals, Project Execution, or related areas.
Strong local industry network, excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
Skilled in strategic business planning, client and stakeholder relationship management, negotiation and deal closing, proposal and presentation development, and local market analysis.
Willingness to travel within Malaysia; a valid driving license is preferred.
