Carbon and Renewable Energy Trader

About the Role

Environmental commodities are becoming core instruments in the global transition to a low-carbon economy. At Saxon Renewables, we operate at the intersection of sustainability, energy markets, and commercial strategy — enabling corporates to achieve their decarbonisation goals through high-integrity Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits, and emerging environmental instruments.

As a Carbon and Renewable Energy Trader, you will operate directly within international markets, working alongside traders, brokers, and project developers globally. You will play an active role in cross-border transactions, contributing to deal origination, execution, and the growth of environmental markets across Asia and beyond.



Your Mission

Execute and support trading activities across environmental commodities, including RECs and carbon credits

Monitor market dynamics, including supply–demand trends, pricing movements, and regulatory developments

Engage with global traders, brokers, renewable energy developers, and counterparties to support deal origination and execution

Structure transactions aligned with client requirements while optimising commercial outcomes

Build and maintain relationships with market participants across international markets

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from trade confirmation through delivery and retirement



What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of experience in commercial, sales, or client-facing roles.

Backgrounds in banking, property/real estate, insurance, or other performance-driven environments are encouraged to apply

Strong interest in global markets, trading, and cross-border transactions

Commercial awareness, with the ability to communicate pricing, negotiation points, and market dynamics clearly

Curiosity and adaptability in an environment shaped by evolving policies and renewable energy mechanisms

Self-driven and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
