Requirements

Proven work experience as a cashier or in customer service.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience.
Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, or debit transactions.
Scan items and ensure pricing is accurate.
Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Resolve customer complaints and answer questions.
Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
Follow all store and safety procedures.
