职位描述
. Operational Management - Oversee daily administrative and operational functions to ensure they align with company goals. This includes planning, maintenance, and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency.
2. Strategic Implementation - Execute the CEO's vision and strategic plans for the company, translating them into actionable operational policies and procedures.
3. Financial Oversight - Manage plantation budgets, control costs, and prepare financial and management reports. The COO is responsible for implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality and for identifying and mitigating financial risks.
4. Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams, including estate managers and agronomists. This involves promoting a culture of performance, accountability, and safety, as well as establishing training and succession plans.
5. Compliance and Sustainability - Ensure adherence to local and federal laws, regulations, and sustainability certifications (such as RSPO, MSPO, or ISPO). Champion sustainable practices and build strong relationships with regulators and local communities.
6. Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, regulators, and local communities.
7. Performance Monitoring - Evaluate business performance by analyzing data and metrics, and report on results. The COO will also make recommendations for improvements to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements :
Possess a Bachelor’s in Plantation Management or other related courses.
10-15 years of progressive experience in plantation industry.
Proven experience in managing large-scale estates, overseeing Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) production, and mill operations.
Deep knowledge of crop cycles, soil science, pest management, and harvesting techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
