Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Retail Operations Management
Lead and manage the overall performance of all retail outlets to ensure operational efficiency and consistency
Oversee daily store operations across multiple locations
Drive improvements in store productivity, sales performance, and customer experience
Optimize manpower planning, staffing structures, and workforce deployment
Enhance in-store visual merchandising and product presentation standards
Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all outlets
Manage and execute new store opening processes from planning to launch
Supply Chain & Inventory Management (Critical Function)
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability
Manage product assortment planning and maintain an effective SKU structure
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and supply continuity
Improve warehouse operations and productivity levels
Strengthen logistics and distribution processes to support business growth
Monitor inventory turnover, stock levels, and replenishment cycles
Ensure efficient and timely product flow from suppliers to retail outlets
Store Operations
Lead initiatives to improve store sales performance and revenue generation
Monitor and optimize store productivity metrics (e.g., sales per square foot)
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies
Ensure efficient staff allocation and workforce productivity across stores
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows
Oversee operational processes for store openings and expansions
Operations Leadership
Manage and oversee large retail networks with stores
Lead operational systems supporting retail outlets or equivalent scale
Handle complex retail operations involving high transaction volumes and multiple locations
Ensure operational alignment and consistency across all stores
Data-Driven Management
Utilize data analytics to drive operational decisions and performance improvements
Monitor store-level sales performance and key operational metrics
Analyze SKU performance and gross margin trends
Track inventory turnover and stock efficiency
Manage and optimize labour cost ratios
Ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded in daily operations
Systems & Process Development
Establish and standardize operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization
Develop scalable retail operations management systems
Design and implement performance management frameworks and KPIs
Build structured training and development programs for store and operations teams
Strategic Execution
Act as the execution lead in partnership with the CEO
Drive operational implementation of business strategies and initiatives
Oversee execution, performance tracking, and operational delivery
Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Retail Management or related field
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in retail operations, with a strong track record in senior leadership roles
Proven experience managing large-scale retail networks or operational systems supporting stores
Strong background in supply chain, inventory management, and procurement strategies
Hands-on experience managing high SKU environments
Solid understanding of retail store operations, including store productivity, merchandising, staffing, and sales optimization
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, improve performance, and increase profitability
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead large, multi-location teams
Ability to execute business strategies effectively and work closely with senior leadership/CEO
