CNC PROGRAMMER SETTER

As a CNC Programmer / Setter at GLS Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality semiconductor machine parts, medical equipments and automotive parts. This is a full-time position based in Melaka..


The job:

· Prepare and develop CNC programs for milling and turning machines.

· Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

· Select suitable tools, fixtures, and machining methods.

· Set machining parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate, and tool paths.

· Perform program testing and troubleshooting during machine setup.

· Optimize machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.

· Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering departments on technical matters.

· Ensure products meet dimensional and quality requirements.

· Maintain programming records and documentation.

· Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.

· Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
