Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably as a kitchen assistant or commis chef
Able to speak in Bahasa Malaysia
Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
Basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, able to work well with colleagues and supervisors.
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to stand for long periods and carry out physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients, sauces, and dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
Prepare food to the required standards, following recipes and instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Assist with receiving and storing ingredients, ensuring they are fresh and properly stored.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Assist in the preparation and execution of daily menu items and special dishes.
Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standard before serving.
Take part in on-the-job training to expand cooking techniques and knowledge of kitchen operations.
